The University of Tennessee at Martin. You remember the friendly campus atmosphere, with faculty, students and staff always willing to lend a hand or offer a smile. That hasn’t changed. You walked through the center of campus, the quad, every day while going to class, meeting new people and gaining new friends along the way; all the while, building your future.
Over the years, thousands of UT Martin students have walked the same sidewalks, attended the same classes and nurtured lasting friendships. Today, you and thousands of alumni and friends depend on the Office of Alumni Relations to keep you in touch with UT Martin.
The UT Martin Alumni Center will allow us to continue to serve our alumni, friends and the University as we have in the past — and to expand upon our vision for the future. The Alumni Center will be a welcoming, friendly place for alumni and friends to relax and visit on campus. The new alumni center will reflect the loyalty and pride UT Martin alumni have for their University.
Located at 1900 Alumni Way, just west of Hardy M. Graham Stadium, the Alumni Center will provide a welcoming gateway to campus and will project the inviting atmosphere that UT Martin alumni and friends know and love. The building will reflect the personality of UT Martin, providing a warm, comfortable place that will evoke many fond memories.
New Opportunities
The on-campus center will give UT Martin an opportunity to familiarize students with the UT Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations programs, preparing them for future involvement and support of the UT Alumni Association and as loyal alumni of the University of Tennessee.
The Alumni Center will be home to events such as alumni reunions, board/council meetings, volunteer leadership conferences and many other events on the Martin campus. The location makes it convenient for alumni and friends to visit campus when they return to UT Martin for alumni and university events.
The Alumni Center is only the beginning. Alumni involvement and participation will be enhanced by the realization that alumni now have a place to call “home” when returning to their alma mater. The University of Tennessee at Martin is about people. You, the alumni and friends of our university will make this facility an important part of the life and culture of UT Martin for now and in the future.
